I thought I could replace the deck, after I pulled it up, there is stringer damage and the rot goes into the pilot house. Any one do a similar job or know a good fiberglass guy that has reasonable rates. I would like to see a diagram of what the wood stringers looked like originally. Any help would be appreciated

If it does not sell in 2011 I will take it off and complete the work myself and continue to enjoy the boat.

I am picking up a 2005 Steiger 26 Chesapeake next weekend with the 6.2 L mercruiser.  I wanted to add an autopilot but I did not note the steering system last time I saw the boat.  Does anyone know the standard steering system on the I/O?
